The Barnet Group have recently launched an Online Balance Checks Portal accessible to Opendoor Homes tenants. The portal enables resident to access priority services at a time convenient to them, without having to call or email us.

  • Viewing previous account transactions
  • Querying your rent account
  • Requesting rent statements
  • Requesting standing order payment details
  • Requesting refunds
  • Creating payment plans
  • Requesting benefits advice
  • Downloading direct debit forms and filling in your details
  • Access to a free budget planner tool
  • Viewing payment arrangements
  • Viewing tenancy details
  • Request permissions related to tenancy (e.g., permission for a pet)
  • Viewing information on mutual exchanges
  • Viewing information on giving notice to end a tenancy

Who can use the portal?

  • Current Opendoor Homes secure tenants (primary or joint)

Who cannot use the portal?

  • Household members who are not a primary or joint tenant
  • Residents living in temporary accommodation
  • Non-secure tenants
  • Previous tenants

How do I sign up to the portal?

  1. Visit https://my.thebarnetgroup.org/
  2. Click ‘Register a new account’
  3. Enter your email address, mobile number, tenancy reference number and date of birth in the relevant boxes
  4. Choose a password for your account
  5. Click ‘Submit’
  6. A verification code will then be sent to your email address (check your junk folder if you do not receive one). Please ensure that you manually type this verification code into the portal page within 10 minutes of receiving it
