On 30th January 2024, we celebrated our annual Community Awards event at the Sangam Centre in Edgware. This year, we filled the hall with over 150 guests, which goes to show how much it has grown from strength to strength and continues to shine a light on the positive work of residents and communities in the borough.
The winners were:
- Good Neighbour – Margaret Lacey
- Community Project of the Year – Barnet Dementia-Friendly Walking Football Team
- Community Group of the Year – Green Man Management Group
- Voluntary Sector Group or Charity of the Year – Unitas Youth Zone
- Young Volunteer of the Year (under 25) – Maryam Omer Ali
- Volunteer of the Year (over 25) -Kelly Hui
- Contactor Social Value and Customer Service Award – Vallectric
