The Barnet Group have recently launched an Online Balance Checks Portal accessible to Opendoor Homes tenants. The portal enables residents to access priority services at a time convenient to them, without having to call or email us.
Key features of the portal include:
• Checking current rent account balances
• Querying your rent account
• Access to a free budget planner tool
• Requesting refunds
• Creating payment plans
Who can use the portal?
• Current Opendoor Homes secure tenants (primary or joint)
Who cannot use the portal?
• Household members who are not a primary or joint tenant
• Residents living in temporary accommodation
• Non-secure tenants
• Previous tenants
How do I sign up to the portal?
1. Scan the QR code
2. Click ‘Register a new account’
3. Enter your email address, mobile number, tenancy reference/ service charge account number and date of birth in the relevant boxes
4. Choose a password for your account
5. Click ‘Submit’
6. A verification code will then be sent to your email address (check your junk folder if you do not receive one).
Please ensure that you manually type this verification code into the portal page within 10 minutes of receiving it
