Staff from The Barnet Group attended the launch of the Trinity Community Hub and cafe on Grahame Park, Colindale. Trinity Church has transformed a previously unused commercial unit on Grahame Park Concourse into a stunning new community space.

The newly refurbished hub is home to the Colindale Foodbank, which operates on Tuesdays and Thursdays, with Citizens Advice also available on foodbank days to provide support to local residents.

Staff heard from Pastor Duncan Hanton about the vision for the hub as a welcoming and inclusive space where everyone can feel at home. The ambition is for the hub to become a place where community groups can meet, training and workshops can take place, and residents can come together, connect and thrive.

We would like to thank our contractors Lura Construction, EffectAble Construction Services Limited, and Quinn London Ltd, who partnered with The Barnet Group to support this fantastic initiative. Together, they donated £10,000 towards the community hubs refurbishment and joined us for a wonderful launch event, including lunch, drinks, speeches and a ribbon-cutting ceremony led by Annie, a true Grahame Park legend. We are excited to see this space grow and the positive impact it will have on the local community.
